The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 Episode 5 Review: Will Power

Life is hard on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 Episode 5. Exotic pets take ill. One housewife has to explain how her filthy rich husband is 32 years her elder and life as a model means you have to be nice to people! Oh, the horror.

Yes, life is difficult in Beverly Hills…but apparently even more so in Sherman Oaks where Lisa Rinna once had a clothing store that was robbed three times in six weeks! Maybe she should have moved it to Beverly Hills.

Elsewhere, Lisa Vanderpump had her own issues. Hanky, one of her swans, had a stomach infection. I love animals but watching Lisa kissing her sick bird after discussing his watery poo was a bit much even for me. On the upside, Hanky bit both Lisa and Ken so he must be feeling much better.

Maybe they should put Hanky in the animal carrier before they get in the car next time.

We also got an up close view of two asses this week. Lisa Rinna's getting waxed on her bedroom floor and Hanky the swan shaking his. Did you have a favorite?

Erika was finally introduced to the rest of the Housewives. Apparently this was a big deal for her. She usually hangs out with gay men but she’s willing to step outside her comfort zone…for whatever fame and fortune being a housewife brings.

But does she really need either? Her sugar daddy of a hubby has put a $189,000 Cartier diamond ring on her finger. As Kyle Richards said in this The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills quote

It's like wearing a Lamborghini on your finger.

Everyone gaped when Erika said her husband was 76 years old and 32 years her senior but seriously…didn’t Ken just turn 70? Aren’t he and Lisa about 20 years apart?

But I did agree with Eileen Davidson when Erika and Lisa started sharing details of their sex lives with their older hubbies. Let’s keep it in the bedroom, folks.

For whatever reason Eileen felt the need to share that Lisa Rinna felt uncomfortable about talking about Yolanda’s illness behind her back. Then she seemed shocked that Yolanda was upset by that. Well, duh? Don’t we all love it when we hear our friends are gossiping about us?

Later, Yolanda was home with her mom and kids and we got to hear Yolanda and her daughters lament how difficult being a model really is. Gigi chimed in that they have to stay fit and be nice to people. Oh, the horror!

For all of those people out there struggling to make ends meet while working more than one job and buying mac and cheese for dinner, this was an eye roll worthy moment; especially while we watch the kids make their meal in their state of the art, high end kitchen in their Malibu estate with the gorgeous view of the Pacific.

And please tell me Anwar was kidding when he said he had no idea how to put butter on bread!

Yeah, life is hard.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 Episode 5 Quotes

My first impression of Erika is that she looks a little bit like the kind of Barbie I used to play with when I was a little girl, you know, the skirt up her butt and the diamonds and the blond hair. So maybe I can have some fun with her now.
