TV Ratings Report: CBS Leads On A Night Full Of Encores

The TV landscape is littered with encores and specials at this time of year.
The most popular shows are all off the air on a Christmas hiatus. CBS came in first place in the ratings on the final Tuesday before Christmas.
Encores of NCIS (10.8 million/1.2 rating), NCIS: New Orleans (8.2 million/1.1 rating) and Limitless (4.5 million/0.7 rating) all did decently in encores.
And elsewhere around the dial:
- On ABC, encores of Fresh Off the Boat (3.4 million/0.8 rating) and The Muppets (2.3 million/0.6 rating) led into The Year: 2015 (4.1 million/1.0 rating), which turned in solid numbers.
- On NBC, it was encores of Hollywood Game Night (3.6 million/0.8 rating), Chicago Med (3.5 million/0.7 rating) and Chicago Fire (3.7 million/0.7 rating).
- On Fox, it was encores of The Simpsons (2.1 million/0.7 rating), Ice Age (2.0 million/0.7 rating) and Taraji and Terrence's White Hot Holidays (1.6 million/0.5 rating).
- And on The CW, it was The Flash (1.4 million/0.4 rating) and iZombie (0.8 million viewers/0.3 rating) encores.
