TV Ratings Report: Criminal Minds Soars!

CBS spread some Holiday cheer as Criminal Minds reached its second highest ratings of the season.

The aging procedural has posted a lot of series lows this year, so CBS should be happy it has gained some ground.

Criminal Minds Season 11 Episode 10 managed 9.2 million viewers and a solid 1.9 rating in 18-49.

Criminal Minds was sandwiched between Survivor (9.8 million viewers/2.3 rating) and Code Black (8.3 million/1.4 rating).

And elsewhere around the dial:

On The CW, Arrow (2.8 million/1.0) dipped, but was still in line with airings before last week's crossover. Supernatural (1.9 million/0.7 rating) slid 2 tenths.
On Fox, an encore of Empire (3.4 million/1.0 rating) led into Taraji and Terrence's White Hot Holidays (5.1 million/1.5 rating). The special boasted strong ratings.
On ABC, The Middle (8 million/2.0 rating) and The Goldbergs (7 million/2.0 rating) were relatively even. Modern Family (8.2 million/2.6) surged, while Black-ish (6 million/1.7 rating) stayed even. Capping off ABC's night was Nashville (4.1 million/0.8 rating) which hit a new series low.
And on NBC, Mat Franco's Got Magic (4.3 million/1.3 rating), led into The Illusionists (3.5 million/0.9 rating).
