ABC's attempt to bring more viewers to The Muppets didn't drum up much interest.
The four-episode mini marathon started with 1.9 million viewers and a 0.4 rating among 18-49. The second episode scored just 1.3 million viewers and a 0.3 rating. Episodes 3 and 4 both managed just 1 million viewers and a 0.3 rating.
Don't expect ABC's midseason revamp of the show to turn the show around. It'll be gone by May!
Closing the night for ABC was an encore of Shark Tank at 1.9 million viewers and a 0.5 rating.
And elsewhere around the dial:
- On CBS, Undercover Boss (7.9 million/1.4 rating) stayed relatively steady, while an encore of the two-hour CSI series finale (6 million. 0.9 rating) pulled in decent ratings.
- On Fox, encores of The Simpsons (5 million/1.9 rating), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2.6 million/1.1 rating), Family Guy (2.4 million/1.0 rating) and The Last Man On Earth (1.7 million/0.6 rating) all turned in solid performances.
- And on NBC, Sunday Night Football (16.1 million/5.3 rating) reigned supreme.
