The crossover reached its conclusion on Chicago PD Season 3 Episode 10 with the case of the chemo overdoses being solved and Voight receiving some closure he didn't even know he needed.
Below, TV Fanatics Elizabeth Harlow and Stacy Glanzman are joined by super fan Honey to discuss the case that spanned three shows, the Roman cliffhanger, and NBC's next possible spin-off?

What did you think of the case and Voight's connection to it?
Elizabeth: For being the third largest city in America, Chicago seems to be an awfully small town. I was also a little confused why so many women who seemed to live in the city were seeing a doc who's office was out in Schaumberg or Aurora, but that's neither here nor there. I liked the case though, I'm just always going to get second, third, and fourth opinions on any diagnoses in my life from now on.
Honey: Of the case, I think that a doctor who has access to so much power and can kill people and not blink an eye is a senseless, incompetent, spineless little esoteric ass who does not follow the Hippocratic Oath and got away with it for too long. I think that Voight's comments and the infusion of his testimony were flawless.
Stacy: It definitely felt very coincidental, but it was an interesting way to incorporate one story through out all three shows. Voight's connection also made it more personal.
Were you surprised with how Roman's shooting played out?
Elizabeth: I was a little surprised that it played out so quickly. I didn't see that resolution coming but mostly because I don't really care about Roman.
Honey: No, but like Elizabeth, I am not a fan of Roman. To me he is still the jerk he always was. He got involved in a situation that he never should have been in.
Stacy: I saw it going differently, with Voight getting involved somehow, but I'm glad it was resolved quickly as well. I'm also not a fan of Roman.
Should NBC develop a Chicago Law series next?
Elizabeth: Only if they could recruit some better lawyers. But seriously, I feel like Chicago Law would end up being too close to Dick Wolf's other franchise. And I would worry that too many properties could weigh down the entire Chicago franchise.
Honey: I don't think it would be a great idea. It would be too much Chicago, but I am not the powers that be so I have no say. I just think it would be too much of a good thing. The trilogy, as it stands right now, is enough. Maybe later, but not now.
Stacy: It sure seemed like they were testing the waters for this, huh? I don't think it would be a good idea either. Three is enough unless NBC wants to become the Chicago and football network.
What was your favorite quote or scene?
Elizabeth: I was really touched by Lindsay's reminisces about Camille. It was nice to see Voight's wife acknowledged in her life, and it also brought to mind Olinsky's current situation. Maybe Lindsay and Voight need to have a conversation with his wife.
Honey: I liked it when Hank and Erin were reminiscing about his wife. That was my favorite scene and when Hank was sitting calmly on the witness stand.
Stacy: I loved Platt helping Burgess out with Roman's case and Denny turning to Burgess and asking "you brought your mom?"
What did you think of the crossover as a whole? Do you want to see more of these?
Elizabeth: Of all the installments, PD seemed the least crossover-y. I would like to see some increased continuity between the shows, and acknowledgement of what's happening on the other properties – it was crazy that there was no mention of Gabby's miscarriage or Casey's disappearance and subsequent investigation on PD for instance.
Honey: I would absolutely love to see more crossovers, but we always have the scenes from each show, with Fire and PD bringing people into Med, but a strong crossover would be great. I love Chicago Fire, PD and Chicago Med and these shows are perfect like they are. They are the perfect trilogy.
Stacy: I think I actually like the smaller crossovers better as they seem feel more natural. They couldn't even find a way to fit Fire into PD and it didn't make sense that Platt's engagement wasn't mentioned on PD. I like the idea of them, but these episodes were not as strong as they could have been.
