Marvel's Jessica Jones Receives Second Season Order from Netlfix

Jessica Jones is coming back!

Considering the popularity of the series and that the character is one of a universe being built by Netflix, it's no surprise, but it's still nice to see the news in writing, isn't it?

Netflix's Ted Sardanos said the scheduling of the second seasons of both Jessica Jones and Daredevil will depend upon their miniseries The Defenders.

The Defenders already has a firm date in place, so production schedules need to work around it to make it fit.

While there wasn't any news at the Television Critics Association winter press tour about what to expect from a second season, series developer and executive producer Melissa Rosenberg shared her thoughts about it with Deadline when Marvel's Jessica Jones dropped in November.

"I would hope to further expand on the ensemble, and on Jessica’s world. She ends in a very different place than she started off. She’s still going to be Jessica Jones — that is not going to change.

She will continue to drink and make mistakes, and accidentally drop people onto train tracks, but something has changed for her by the end of this season, and I’d just love to explore that in the second season."

So what do you think? I'd sure love to see Trish Walker expanded, as she quickly became my favorite in Jessica Jones. She really was a hellcat!

Who would you like to see more of in Jessica Jones and what's the one trait of Jessica's you hope she never loses?
