Netflix has granted a third season to Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 2 will hit Netflix this April, so that's three months in advance!
Originally, the series from Tina Fey and Robert Carlock skipped the pilot phase and was ordered straight to series at NBC, but then it moved to Netlfix and a second season was added to the first as part of that deal.
The Emmy-nominated series stars Ellie Kemper as Kimmy Schmidt.
Schmidt is released from a cult bunker and released into the world to start a new life.
There, she finds a new roommate (Tituss Burgess), a new job (working for Jane Krakowski) and begins all over again.
The series also stars Lauren Adams, Sara Chase, Sol Miranda and Carol Kane.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will drop on Netflix April 15, 2016.
