We can never get enough of fierce women on television!
This is by no means a complete list, but one that represents a wide range of diversified shows across the viewing spectrum. We have dramatic bombshells, funny ladies, police women, attorneys and women who are have been tasked with keeping the free world free (or entertaining a man who does the job; it takes all kinds!).
These women kick ass. They love hard. They're warriors and fixers. They're at the forefront of their fields.

1. Sharon Raydor -- Major Crimes
As the lead of Major Crimes, Sharon can't take any guff from her squad as her decisions quite often mean life and death. She doesn't need a man to be successful at her job or a wonderful mother. She's fierce just the way she is.
2. Octavia Blake - The 100
Octavia Blake brings a new meaning to the word "ferocity." Not only did homegirl grow up under the freaking floor most of her life, she then became a total warrior princess on the ground, kicking ass on a regular basis. Fierce doesn't even begin to describe her.
3. Elizabeth Jennings -- The Americans
Elizabeth has been sruggling to marry the two different sides of her existence, her old home and the new life in which she's raising her children. She's a fighter, both physically and emotionally, and will what she needs to do to protect what she loves.
4. Sarah -- Orphan Black
Once Sarah discovered she was a clone, she did everything she could to round up the rest of her sisters and fight valiantly to keep them together. She's about to retrace the steps of the first, Beth, to join with an enemy for even more answers. She won't stop until they're all safe.
5. Olivia Pope -- Scandal
Olivia is a fixer. She gets the best clients, has the best entrances and exits, drinks the best wine (usually red, while wearing white clothing, no less), kisses the best guys and wears the best clothes. Even when she cries she looks damn good doing it. What's not fierce about that?
6. Jessica Pearson -- Suits
Jessica is the true constant at the law firm on Suits. She has seen partners come and go and she deals with all of the crap that ebbs and flows as they do. She's not afraid to make a decision, even the most difficult, except when it comes to her love life. She really needs to get a serious one and soon. Her most fierce aspect? Her fashion sense. Damn, that woman has style!
7. Elizabeth McCord -- Madam Secretary
Secretary McCord is keeping the free world free while the president isn't looking and raising a family. She's making tough decisions that often mean allowing one to die to save numbers of others. She has a great sense of humor and a healthy dose of anxiety thanks to the perils of her job. She's human. That's fierce.
8. Diane Lockhart -- The Good Wife
The show may be named after Alicia, but it's Diane who never wavers in her determination to stand ground. She's riddled with conviction, passion and loyalty. Never letting her work interfere with her personal life is one of her strongest suits.
9. Laura Diamond -- The Mysteries of Laura
Laura can manage the stresses of work as a brilliant NYPD homicide detective, as well as mothering two unruly twin boys and she can look great doing it. Best of all, the men in her life can't seem to let her go, so she's doing something right.
10. Alex Parrish -- Quantico
Alex has been set up by God knows who to take the fall for God knows what, at least one bombing, more likely two. But she soldiers on to find who is framing her, and susses out the good guys from the bad guys in her training class.
11. Mary Jane Paul -- Being Mary Jane
Mary Jane does everything in a big way. She lives large. She loves big, she drinks too much and fights for everything she wants with every beat of her heart. Her renegade tactics at SNC just propelled her into an anchor position. The sky is the limit for this fierce woman.
12. Jane Villanueva -- Jane the Virgin
Jane has been through the ringer. She was planning her future, working and going to school and saving herself for marriage. A gross injustice meant she was artificially inseminated. Now she's a mom, but also just got engaged! She pretty much never lets anything get her down. That's pretty fierce.
13. Dutch -- Killjoys
Not every woman is cut out to be a bounty hunter. Not every woman is cut out to be a leader of men. Dutch is. She knows not everyone can be saved. She's learned be prepared, to know you can't control everything and that you need to trust your instincts. She's positive, capable, and of course, fierce.
14. Selina Meyer -- Veep
Selina made it to president this year! The self-named Veep, the people's vice president, wanted to be successful in bringing politics to the people and people to politics and she'll have more chances than ever as the commander in chief!
15. Maura Pfefferman -- Transparent
Maura beat Caitlyn Jenner to the punch when she told her family she wouldn't spend another day as Mort. On Transparent, it's hard to tell which is more difficult, dealing with the reactions of those around her as she transitions to her life as a woman or dealing with her family in any capacity whatsoever. We vote the latter!
16. Annalise Keating -- How to Get Away with Murder
Annalise Keating is strong, independent, brilliant and passionate. She's also sexy, glamorous, unpredictible and dangerous. The combination of these traits mean she's a killer inside and out of the courtroom and classroom and that her personal life collides with her professional life in surprising ways.
17. Virginia Johnson -- Masters of Sex
Virginia is a single mother with a drive to succeed using whatever means necessary. She has incredible enthusiasm, a passion for knowledge and a healthy lust for live and love. Her desire to dig deeper lets her push boundaries others would only dream about, putting her at the forefront of scientific discovery, among other things.
