Two-time Emmy Award winning actor Larry Drake has passed away.

Drake was found today by a friend at his Hollywood home, and details of his death are unknown.

Drake recurred on LA Law as Benny, a developmentally challenged man who worked for the firm and progressively grew, finding the job, getting his own apartment and a girlfriend, often fighting for his rights with the help of the firm's attorneys.

Other television series Drake appeared on over the years included Prey, Crossing Jordan, Six Feet Under and Boston Legal, his last credited role in 2008.

Drake was also well-recognized for his role in movies.

He appeared in the 1992 fantasy film Darkman and its sequels, where he played the villain Robert G. Durant and 1992's Dr. Giggles, where he played a psychopathic murdering doctor.
