Pretty Little Liars Season 7 will kick off on Freeform on June 21 at 8/7c.
With that said, we now have one question:
Is it June 21 at 8/7c yet?!?!?!?
Freeform (we're finally getting sort of used to calling it that) has released the first trailer for Pretty Little Liars Season 7 and it asks a major question of its own:
Can the girls #SaveHanna?
Her life was left in the balance when we last left Rosewood, while a few other developments of note also took place on the Pretty Little Liars Season 6 finale:
We learned that Alison's mom's twin, who is also Charlotte's real mom, is the person who has been sending the Liars all those death threats.
The Liars themselves sort of learned this same thing, wondering how the heck Mrs. D could be the one behind such devious actions.
There was hope given to all Spoby supporters.
There was a hot and steamy Haleb kiss
There was even hotter and steamier bedroom action between Ezria.
As for what lies ahead, we know that Jenna will return for Season 7.
We also just found out that Nichols Gonzalez will join the cast.
Aside from on-screen storylines, there's the question of whether we'll be able to watch Pretty Little Liars online or on television after this summer.
Is it going into its final season?
“We have enough story to take us to the end of Season 7," creator Marlene King recently told TV Line, adding:
"We’re going to let the fans tell us if they’re ready to say goodbye to this world and these characters.”
Eh, we're not sure if that's really how a show should be handled. You tell the story you want to tell and then you say goodbye.
It's far better to leave fans wanting more than to leave fans begging for you to call it quits.
