Ready for some pretty good news?
HBO has confirmed a long-gestating rumor that can now be made into a reality:
Curb Your Enthusiasm will return for a ninth season.
It remains unclear at this time just when Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 9 will premiere and how many episodes will comprise the return of Larry David's beloved sitcom.
But it will come back to the cable network over five years since he end of Season 8.
“We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of Curb and can’t wait to see what he has planned,” Casey Bloys, president, HBO programming, said in a statement.
The official release also included David’s thoughts on the new episodes. They read:
“In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.'”
Gosh. He's the best.
David has maintained for years that he'd be open to more Curb Your Enthusiasm. He just didn't reveal very much more than that.
We'll keep readers apprised on just when they can expect Curb Your Enthusiasm to return to their television lives.
