Nicole was accused of killing Deimos, who was off visiting Chloe, Theresa had a bad dream, and Chad’s real world turned into a nightmare on Days of Our Lives.

Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori and Christine Orlando are joined by Fluffysmom from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to debate who has the best chemistry with Deimos, Theresa’s dream sequence, and if Aiden can be redeemed now that he’s back in Salem. 

Would you like to see Rafe paired with Hope, Nicole, Blanca, somewhat else? No one at all?

Jack: Rafe and Nicole are my dream couple right now (as in the dream that will never come true). They have a ton of chemistry and would be an interesting pair, and if Adriana doesn't think Hope is good enough for Rafe I can't imagine what she'd say or do if he were paired with Nicole.

Fluffysmom: I’m not sure yet about Blanca. I'm curious about Rafe and Nicole but only if Nicole doesn't try to change her personality to be with him. I like Rafe and Hope's friendship but their romance feels too forced.

Christine: I think Rafe and Hope could make a great couple but I admit that it feels like they’ve forced them together much too soon. I always thought Nicole and Rafe had a lot of potential too, but it feels like the show is determined to push her together with either Dario or Deimos, neither of which I’m happy about. 

Who does Deimos have the best chemistry with: Kate, Nicole, or Chloe?

Jack: Meh. I don't like the idea of Deimos being paired with any of these ladies. Two of them deserve better and one deserves to be in jail for a long, long, long time. I guess he has decent chemistry with Nicole and Chloe but I'd rather not go there.

Fluffysmom: I am enjoying Deimos and Chloe's scenes. I'm also hoping to see more of Deimos and Nicole. I'm thrilled to have Vincent Irizarry in Salem and can't wait to see what happens next with him.

Christine: Surprisingly, I thought that Deimos had better chemistry with Chloe in their first scene then he did with anyone else. The problem is, I don’t really like Deimos so I’m not sure about having him paired with Chloe in the future. 

Rate Theresa’s dream sequence from 1 (worst) to 10 (best).

Jack:  About a 4. It was ridiculous and took up too much screen time. One or two scenes would have been sufficient.

Fluffysmom: I rate the dream scenes a 7. It was a clever way to express Teresa's many insecurities and fears. I'd like to see more of her around Salem when she's awake.

Christine: I’d also give it a 4. I was frustrated because we’ve gotten so little screen time with Theresa and then when we did, it was all a dream. If she and Anne hadn’t been so entertaining, I would have rated it even lower. 

Do you think that Aiden can be redeemed?

Jack: Yes. All that's needed is for the writers to watch old clips to find out who he really is and stop writing out of character BS for him. A better question is whether they WANT to redeem him, which I don't think they do.

Fluffysmom: I think that Aiden can probably be redeemed in time. Anything is possible in Salem. I don't agree with Hope getting back together with him at all. It feels very rushed to me. I don't see how she can get past Aiden having the same face as the man who tried to murder her, not to mention his son raping her daughter.

Christine: No, not with the way they’ve written him. He’s done nothing but lie to Hope since he’s been back. Perhaps he can be redeemed and move on with someone else but I don’t think that person should be Hope.

What was the worst storyline of the week?

Jack:  I really hated the contrived Joey hostage scenes, though Nicole and Dario getting arrested by an incompetent cop after hiding in the closet forever was equally stupid.

Fluffysmom: Ciara's crush on Chad (her cousin's husband) and anything related to Summer.

Christine: Both Victor and Kate looking to set up Nicole and Nicole’s lack of intelligence in handling it. I remember the days when Nicole was tough and smart, what happened to that?

What was your favorite quote, scene, or story from this week in Salem?

Jack: Loved, loved, loved the Jen/Julie conversation and JJ's conversation with Rory! It feels like a completely different show whenever Jen is shown struggling and allowing her family to support her through her pill crisis.

Fluffysmom: I’m really enjoying the Chloe and Deimos scenes. We are seeing a completely different side to him and I'm intrigued. I also want to give credit to Billy Flynn for being so compelling as a man crushed and unable to help his wife. 

Christine: Chad finding out that Abigail was injured and then that she was the person who started the fire. He’s desperately trying to hold it all together as his world continues to crumble and my heart was breaking for him.
