Gotham Season 3: Who's on Board as Valerie Vale?

We have our first piece of Gotham Season 3 casting news.
According to TV Line sources, Jamie Chung has been cast in the recurring role of Valerie Vale.
The actress will come on board the Fox drama as Gotham Gazette newest reporter, with a source confirming Valerie is the aunt of DC Comics character Vicki Vale.
Vicki, of course, was portrayed by Kim Basinger in the original Batman movie.
Her aunt is described in this same article as "a crackerjack reporter dead set on uncovering the truth behind Indian Hill."
Viewers who watch Gotham online or on television can look forward to a "confident and dogged" journalist who will stop at nothing to get the big scoop.
She will set her sights on James Gordon, who she believes to be the key lead in her story.
Gotham Season 3 will premiere on Monday, September 19 a7 8/7c.
It will also feature the arrival of the Mad Hatter, as well as bring in a bigger and badder Ivy Pepper.
Chung, meanwhile, is best known on the small screen for having played Mulan for an extended run of Once Upon a Time episodes.
