TV Ratings Report: The Night Shift Returns Down

NBC's The Night Shift (4.9 million/1.1 rating) had its least watched premiere yet.
Before that, American Ninja Warrior (6.3 million/1.8 rating) returned on par with its previous opener.
Fox's Masterchef (3.8 million/1.1 rating) returned in line with last year's average, while Wayward Pines (2.7 million/0.9 rating) was even.
ABC's 500 Questions (4.5 million/0.8 rating) went out with a weak performance.
CBS aired encores of Undercover Boss (4.5 million/0.9 rating), Criminal Minds (4.8 million/0.9 rating) and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (4.1 million/0.8 rating).
And The CW aired iHeartRadio Summer Pool Party (0.8 million/0.2 rating) and an encore of Supernatural (0.8 million/0.2 rating).
