The Flash Season 3: Ashley Rickards Joins as Villain "The Top"

at .

Well, this is awkward.

Awkward's Ashley Rickards will be joining The Flash Season 3 as Rosalind "Rosa" Dillon aka The Top on the fourth episode.

What's so awkward about that, you ask? In the comics, this member of the Rogues Gallery is Rosco Dillon, so Rickards will be putting a feminine touch on an otherwise male character. Awesome!!

Rosa is known as the Bonnie to Mirror Master's Clyde. Mirror Master will be portrayed by the already announced Grey Damon in the episode.

So what are the powers of a villain with a name like "The Top"?

I don't want to know how this works, but she has the ability to make your head spin. Do you think that's literal or figurative?

It would be one thing to give someone the spins, but to literally spin their head around on their neck?

Well, I don't think they'd last long. OUCH.

Don't forget, when The Flash kicks off on October 4, things will look a little different.

Barry went back in time on The Flash Season 2 Episode 23, creating a Flashpoint situation. He'll be sitting pretty, living with his two breathing parents, thinking life can't get any better.

We can only guess he hasn't taken the time to visit his former friends and family at the time we catch up with him, because the lives of everyone will be affected as a result of his meddling.

All so that pre-teen Barry can live his dream of having a full blood family together again.

I kind of think Barry needs some counseling, but it is what it is, and he'll need to deal with the consequences of his actions whether he likes it or not.

Tom Felton will have Barry's job as a CSI tech named Jonas at the CCPD.

Wally West will have Barry's job saving the city as Kid Flash.

Barry's friend Cisco will have a completely different, wealthy, life in which he works at STAR Labs trying to stop metahumans. But why, I wonder? His story should be interesting.

Caitlin's mom will be in the picture, as Susan Walters has been cast in the role. Perfect choice, right? How will that blustery relationship play out on screen?

There is so much to look forward to on The Flash this coming season. What is most exciting to you?

The Flash Quotes

Ramsey: You know, I don't understand you Barry. You march towards death without fear, just like mum. Where is it you get your strength?
Barry: Probably the same place she did, people I love.

Where I came from, I was a speedster like you. They called me The Flash.
