Another famous Rogue villain is making his way to The Flash Season 3.
If you thought the best Rogues had already come and gone, you were wrong!
Grey Damon will become Sam Scudder aka Mirror Master for The Flash Season 3 Episode 4. Does that mean he'll be a one and done character?
We'll have to wait and watch the show to find out whether Mirror Master will be in more than one installment, but even more interesting is whether or not he'll be fighting The Flash or Kid Flash.
We don't know yet how long it will take to set the wrongs of Flashpoint right...or even if that means we won't still have two flashes fighting the forces of evil on the streets of Central City afterward anyway!
Sam Scudder is a pretty well known guy in the DC canon. Real comic book fans were surprised he was left behind during the initial two seasons.
Let's take a look at his comic book incarnation and the official character description from The Flash:
One of the Flash's most infamous Rogues, Sam Scudder – aka Mirror Master – is a smooth criminal with a huge ego.
Upon discovering he now has the power to travel through any reflective surface, Scudder embarks on a massive crime spree to prove himself the greatest thief that Central City has ever seen.
Other members of the Rogues are Mick Rory aka Heatwave, Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold, Lisa Snart aka Golden Slider, Captain Boomerang, The Trickster and the Pied Piper.
Of those shown, many have become a force for good, and Hartley Hathaway aka Pied Piper was changed during one of Barry Allen's visits to the past.
When Barry returned, Hartley had reformed, and the Pied Piper is no more. Then again, Barry went back in time again and we have no idea what Flashpoint will bring.
The official synopsis for Season 3 says his visit will result in irrevocable changes, meaning at least some of what he did won't be changed back. So exciting.
Take a look at the trailer for The Flash Season 3 now:
What camp do you stand in? The one welcoming changes and how it might affect the show going forward or the one who wants Flashpoint to come and go with as few modifications to the way things were as possible?
Damon currently stars on Aquarius on NBC and previously starred on The Nine Lives of Chloe King, Star-Crossed and Friday Night Lights.
He joins previously cast Season 3 newcomers Tom Felton as CSI tech Julian Dorn and Susan Walters as Caitlin's mom.
