NBC has a hit on their hands with This Is Us.
NBC: The Voice (10.6 million/2.5 rating) took a hit as the "Battle Rounds" began, but gained ground year to year, while This Is Us (9.8 million/2.8 rating) picked up steam to match its highest ratings yet. Chicago Fire (7.5 million/1.8 rating) matched its year ago premiere.
Fox: Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2.1 million/0.9 rating), New Girl (2 million/0.9 rating) and Scream Queens (1.6 million/0.7 rating) continued to dip.
The CW: The Flash (2.7 million/1.0 rating) slipped, but No Tomorrow (0.8 million/0.3 rating) crashed, shedding almost half of the week ago debut ratings.
ABC: The Middle (6.6 million/1.7 rating) moved to Tuesdays with ratings in line with the spring average for the show. American Housewife (6.5 million/1.8 rating) premiered well. Fresh off the Boat (5 million/1.5 rating) was down from last fall's premiere, but way up from the spring average. The Real O'Neals (3.8 million/1.2 rating) and Agents of Shield (2.8 million/0.9 rating) were low.
CBS: NCIS (14.5 million/1.7 rating), Bull (13 million/1.6 rating) and NCIS: New Orleans (9.7 million/1.2 rating) were down.
