Lethal Weapon Season 1 Episode 7 Review: Fashion Police

Riggs is starting to share.

Even though Riggs is having disturbing dreams about Miranda, it doesn't prevent him from being his crazy self while working with Murtaugh to solve a drug case on Lethal Weapon Season 1 Episode 7.

The Fashion Expeditor - Lethal Weapon

Riggs is an amazing guy. He's really come a long way since he first started with the LAPD.

When he first came on board, he wasn't too keen on sharing anything with Dr. Cahill. Now, each hour he's sharing a little bit more. Plus, it's a huge step for him to readily admit he's ready to join his wife.

It has to be a difficult thing to admit, but just the fact that he's admitting to such a thing is a huge step in the right direction. I don't think he really wants to die. He just wants the pain to go away.

It's hard losing someone under such tragic circumstances. Or any circumstances for that matter. The pain sticks with you for a long time. But, the more he talks to Dr. Cahill, the easier it seems to be getting for him.

Who else thought he might hook up with Agent Parker?

Although, I'm pretty sure he's going to end up with Dr. Cahill, I really thought for a moment that he was going to take Agent Parker up on her offer of dinner. It would have been a nice step. They had a pretty good connection from the moment they meant, and I'm pretty sure he felt something.

Didn't you guys see the way he looked at her after saving her from the shooter?

But, it may still be too soon. And, that's understandable too. Or, it could be that he's saving himself for Dr. Cahill. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into things at this point. But, there are a lot of women on this show that find Riggs attractive. He has to realize that. Murtaugh does.

Still, I like that Riggs is making progress and not just sitting stagnant. That would make the whole Miranda storyline pretty boring. The only thing I wonder is when he's going to get together with Miranda's parents. Her dad has to be wondering what's going on with his son-in-law.

It's amazing how Riggs can hide his pain so well. He really is an efficient cop. And a funny one, especially when he's with Murtaugh.

There were so many great moments this hour. I loved when they were in Avery's office and Parker was trying to get them off the case. They were acting like a couple of kids at everything she was saying. Murtaugh pretending he was riding a horse was hilarious. Those two just crack me up.

I cannot have a couple of yahoos and cowboys throwing bombs into my investigation just to see what they can blow up.

Agent Palmer

Poor Murtaugh didn't have much luck taking advantage of an empty house. Granted, he still had the baby, but he could have had so much fun. Too bad his friends pretty much blew him off. But, it was great that Riggs showed up at the end with a six-pack.

How great was them falling asleep to the Three Stooges? And I liked that Riggs brought his new dog friend with him. He sure made himself comfortable didn't he? He seems to be just like his new owner.

There was a lot of great action this hour too. It wasn't too over-the-top and that was perfectly fine. The show doesn't always need to have cars blow up to make an episode work. Riggs being dragged by chains down the street was just as much fun...and it was a lot more realistic than the crazy car flip from Lethal Weapon Season 1 Episode 6.
