1.
Stiles and Lydia - Teen Wolf
Stiles and Lydia from Teen Wolf deserve love TOGETHER. It's the final season, let them find their way to each other already!
2.
Cisco Ramon - The Flash
Cisco has always fallen for someone, but never truly gets the girl. The Flash hasn't been known for its love, and we need someone to help pull Cisco back out of the darkness that has surrounded him this season. He's such a giving soul and so sweet. He deserves a crush that he eventually reciprocates. It would be so fun to watch!
3.
The Leighton Brothers - Code Black
Angus and Mike Leighton from Code Black. Poor Angus just wants to do his job and do it well. Then you throw his brother out of an airplane. And then Mike actually leaves (because Tommy Dewey has a billion jobs, but still). You just want to hug these guys. Repeatedly.
4.
Mick Rory - Legends of Tomorrow
Mick Rory from Legends of Tomorrow. I'm still bitter about the loss of Leonard Snart, but I still have my Micky. Unfortunately the rest of the Legends crew don't seem to value and love the guy like I do. Mick has had a tough go of it. He lost the closest person he had and the only one who seemed to give a damn about him. And he's stuck on a time ship with a merry band of misfits who tend to treat him like he's an idiot. He has understandably been in a funk. Even a thieving, occasionally homicidal, pyromaniac needs love! At least a badass vixen has taken a shining to him.
5.
Spencer Reid - Criminal Minds
Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds has never had a real relationship. His one real love interest died before they ever had a chance to be together, and it was incredibly sad. He's had so much bad luck throughout the series, and his mom is taking a turn for the worse. If anyone is deserving of some happiness, it's him.
6.
Jim Gordon - Gotham
"Gotham’s Jim Gordon is a complete mess, but the guy deserves a break in the love department. When he connected with Valerie Vale at the beginning of Season 3, it seemed like his luck had changed, but his pining for Lee ruined that relationship before it even had a chance. He and Lee are pretty much dead in the water, so can’t we give him someone else to love? At this point, he deserves a little bit of happiness.
7.
Jamal Lyon - Empire
Jamal Lyon on Empire could use some love from someone not named Lyon. His mother would die for him, but she also does things like dig pills out of the kitchen sink pipes so that he can come out of drug withdrawal and perform at her boyfriend's big political fundraiser. His father constantly berates him for his homosexuality and his relative lack of ruthlessness, as thought both of those qualities are terrible things. His brothers seesaw between wanting to ally themselves with him and wanting to destroy him. All the while, Jamal keeps writing and singing beautiful, emotional music. Perhaps his music would suffer if he didn't have such an insane family to inspire him -- indeed, his next album is supposed to be a concept album all about his family's past. But the guy needs to find some slightly more sane people to surround himself with. One hopes that in 2017 he'll get to spend some more time with some better influences, like his counselor, Philip.
8.
Rafael Solano - Jane the Virgin
Rafael Solano on Jane the Virgin! Now that he's been officially rejected by Jane, it's time for a new love interest for him. After all, he's a hot single dad! (And he's also like, a bajillionaire!) That's a great angle to work with! Maybe someone who could match Gina Rodriguez's comedy and drama skills? A new addition to Jane the Virgin would be a great shake-up for this telenovela!
9.
The Winchesters - Supernatural
The Winchesters on Supernatural haven't had love interests, or even potential love interests, in what feels like ages. And I'm not talking about evil demon love interests. These are two handsome, smart, fun guys who've lived mostly without partners, well, aside from each other. It wouldn't be the worst thing if on one of their Monster-of-the-Week cases one (or both) of them found someone to save in a more permanant way.
10.
Monty - The 100
Monty on The 100. Monty is the ONLY character on this damn show that's been consistently, morally good. He and Harper deserve to enjoy long, happy lives together, but unfortunately, that doesn't really happen on this show.
11.
Mariah Copeland - The Young and the Restless
In this world of streaming TV, is there any reason I can't nominate another non-traditional show? That's right, I'm going with Mariah Copeland on The Young and the Restless. As we were putting this together, she was featured for an entire week in a story all her own for the first time in forever, and it suits her. Now that she's accomplished that, let's get her a love interest. The normal, pretty, snarky girl can get in on the love business too, you know. It's time!
12.
Cookie Lyon - Empire
Cookie's relationship with Angelo has shown us new dynamics for the character. It just sucks that Lucious will always find a way to throw a wrench in the works
