at .

On Quantico Season 2 Episode 9, Alex goes to the FBI and fills Hannah in on everything AIC related, dating back to the farm. Things, of course, take a turn for the worst.

Below, TV Fanatics Jasmine Peterson and Allison Nichols, along with TV Fanatic reader Meaghan Frey weigh in on the validity of Alex's AIC phone, try to figure out what Miranda will say to turn Alex, and more!

How/When did Alex get an AIC phone, or do you think she's trying to trick Ryan?

Jasmine: I think she's trying to trick Ryan. She did see the phone before, if I'm not mistaken, so she would know what it's supposed to look like. Because I can't think of a moment where she would have been given a phone.

Meaghan: 100% she's trying to trick Ryan. She doesn't trust Ryan to give her information about the AIC like he said he would, so this is her way of trying to trick him into doing it.

Allison: It has to be a trick. I agree that she is using the phone to trick Ryan into actually keeping his promise and giving her information on the AIC. Alex is a crafty one. I just wish that we could have found out for sure if it was a trick or not.

Are you surprised that Leon is starting to see through Shelby/Jane's lies? How long do you think it will take him to figure everything out?

Jasmine: I'm actually not. The real surprise is that it took him this long to become suspicious. It pretty much had to hit him over the head because he just happened to be in the midst of a seduction lesson.

He's obviously being recruited for a reason, and he's a photojournalist who is supposed to have an eye for detail. As I said, I'm surprised it took him this long.

Meaghan: Not at all. Shelby may be beautiful and intelligent, but her heart always gets in the way. She likes Leon and liking him makes it hard to keep a cover.

Right away in the episode, she showed she was starting to let the walls between Jane and Shelby fall down when she said he likes her, not Jane. It was only a matter of time before he figured it out.

Allison: As a CIA recruit, Leon should have figured things a lot faster. It won't be long now before Leon figures everything out. He knows not to trust what comes out of Jane's mouth, as evident by him watching her house.

Did Alex make the right decision by going to the FBI after Ryan locked her out of the terrorist situation?

Jasmine: I suppose so. Given that this is Alex Parrish, I'll give her kudos for attempting to follow some sort of procedure or protocol for a change. I can't think of anything else she should have done.

Meaghan: Yes, but it was a total shock coming from her. She is always so convinced she can do everything alone. I'm genuinely surprised she would let the FBI in and help her.

Allison: I was also surprised that she didn't try to do everything on her own. I kind of expected her to be a little bit smarter and consider the possibility that not everyone in the FBI could be trusted, but, hey, at least she went to the FBI in the first place.

What could Miranda say that would make Alex change sides?

Jasmine: I HAVE NO IDEA!!! I can't even begin to speculate on this new development. I'll assuming there is some "greater good" scenario going on, but what it is? I haven't the foggiest idea.

Meaghan: Like Jasmine said, it'd gonna be a greater good type of situation. Which is kind of disappointing for me. I would love if all these characters really had turned to the dark side.

Allison: I have absolutely no idea. I'm curious to find out when exactly Miranda joined the terrorists, if it was before the AIC mission at the Farm or sometime closer to the hostage crisis. There are so many questions, and I hope Miranda's explanation answers them all.

Follow up question, are you excited by the prospect of Alex joining the AIC or would you rather she stay on the outside?

Jasmine: I think the break did Quantico good, because I'm definitely intrigued by this prospect. Being on the outside has not gotten her nearly as far as she'd like. Joining the AIC would be so much more interesting to watch. Sometimes you have to join them to beat them.

Meaghan: Only if she was really joining the AIC, not just going undercover. Watching Alex play the hero and single-handedly bringing them down from the inside doesn't sound interesting to me at all.

Allison: I'm excited for the shake up. I find Alex more interesting when she is working in a team. Quantico Season 1 featured Alex out on her own, revealing a terrorist plot that no one knew about.

I'm glad that this season we are mixing things up, a little bit. I would love it if Alex was completely wrong about the hostage situation.

Who was the MVP of the episode?

Jasmine: Usually, I say Harry. In fact, you can mark Harry down as the MVP of the season as far as I'm concerned. But I have to acknowledge Hannah this week. Her interrogation scenes with Alex were awesome.

She and I are on the same wavelength with recognizing that Alex is usually on the right path, but not downplaying the fact that Alex is a pain in the ass.

Meaghan: I agree with Jasmine. Definitely Hannah. I love her being a bad ass and not just letting Alex off the hook so easily.

Allison: Hannah gets my vote as well! I loved the way she handled the interrogation with Alex.

She acknowledged that Alex has a track record of being right with conspiracy theories in the past, but Hannah still made Alex prove everything to her. Hannah was not just taking Alex at her word.

Quantico Season 2 Episode 9 Quotes

The easiest way to pick someone up is from the bottom of the heap. You want information? Seduce your asset.

Harry

Hannah: All right, Parrish, what did you get yourself into this time?
Alex: Hannah? What are you doing here?
Hannah: I think the better question is, what are you doing here. The center of a conspiracy that no one magically knows about but you, again? Alex Parrish, national hero in the wrong place at the right time two years running.
