TV Ratings Report: Star Stable for Fox

at .  Updated at .

Star may not be hitting the high notes in the ratings, but it's performing well enough to clinch a renewal.

Fox: Lethal Weapon (6.3 million/1.4 rating) was stable, while Star (3.9 million/1.2 rating) managed to stabilize in the ratings for the first time since it premiered. It's definitely no Empire, but it's keeping the time period warm for the return of the Fox juggernaut.

CBS: After solid sampling on Sunday night, Hunted (5.5 million/1.3 rating) crashed in the ratings, but it was still a cut above Undercover Boss. All things considered, it should have performed better.

Code Black (5.6 million/0.9 rating) closed out the night for CBS in line with recent ratings.

The CW: Arrow (1.7 million/0.6 rating) returned in line with its Fall average, while Frequency (0.8 million/0.3 rating) inched upwards as Season 1 came to a close.

NBC: It was encores of Law & Order: SVU (4.7 million/0.9 rating) and Chicago PD (4.4 million/0.8 rating).

ABC: It was encores of The Goldbergs (4.8 million/1.2 rating), Speechless (4 million/1.1 rating), Modern Family (4.4 million/1.1 rating) and Black-ish (3.9 million/1.1 rating), followed by President Trump - The First Interview (7.5 million/1.7 rating).
