TV Ratings Report: Training Day Flops

Turns out, viewers were not interested in seeing a TV show based on Training Day. 

CBS: Training Day (4.7 million/0.9 rating) launched with mediocre ratings. However, Superior Donuts (10.6 million/1.9 rating) launched with solid ratings out of The Big Bang Theory (14.6 million/3.1 rating).

The true test will be when the series moves over to Mondays. 

Mom (8.8 million/1.6 rating) and Life In Pieces (6.7 million/1.3 rating) slipped in the ratings vs. their last originals. 

ABC: Grey's Anatomy (8.4 million/2.3 rating), Scandal (6.6 million/1.8 rating) and How to Get Away with Murder (4.7 million/1.3 rating) slipped, but were still solid. 

The CW: Supernatural (1.8 million/0.6 rating) was even, but Riverdale (1.1 million/0.4 rating) lost a tenth. 

Fox: Hell's Kitchen (3.7 million/1.1 rating) and My Kitchen Rules (2.2 million/0.7 rating) dipped. 

NBC: Superstore (4 million/1.2 rating) and Chicago Med (6.3 million/1.2 rating) were stable, while The Blacklist (5 million/0.9 rating) hit a new series low. 

The series debut of Powerless (3.1 million/1.1 rating) retained 92 percent of Superstore's demo rating.
