Viewers will be getting to stick around Riverdale for at least one more year on The CW.
The dark teen drama has been renewed for a second season.
The series follows the teens of Riverdale as they come to terms with the murder of Jason Blossom.
Based on the Archie comics, the series debuted in January to tepid numbers, but delayed viewing is thought to have played a huge part in saving the series.
Season 1 is averaging 1.2 million viewers and a 0.4 rating among adults 18-49 in live plus same day data.
Also, the series has a lucrative streaming deal with Netflix outside of the US which should help with the costs of the show.
The CW has been known to make renewal decisions without consulting the live ratings.
The series boasts a class that includes Luke Perry, Madchen Amick, Cole Sprouse, KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes.
The network previously renewed The Flash, Jane the Virgin, Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, Supergirl, Supernatural and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
Out of the series still waiting to be renewed, The 100 stands a good chance, while Frequency and No Tomorrow are not expected to return.
The Originals and iZombie have not aired a single episode this season, so we won't have news on them for quite a while.
Reign and The Vampire Diaries are already confirmed to be coming to a close, with The Vampire Diaries airing its last-ever episode this coming Friday.
Riverdale continues on Thursday with Riverdale Season 1 Episode 7. The episode will find Betty trying to find Polly who has escaped from the asylum.
