The 100: Renewed for Season 5!!

Clarke's mission to save her people will not be ending on The 100 Season 4

The CW has handed the post-apocalyptic drama an early renewal for Season 5.

Clarke's Stressed - The 100 Season 4 Episode 4

There was never really any question about whether the series would be renewed for another go around.

Ratings are down, but they are still on par with some of the other series the network has renewed.

An episode order is yet to be confirmed, but the series has premiered mid-season for past two seasons, so it would make sense for the network to stick to that pattern.

Season 4 premiered in February and has followed the characters as they get to grips with the news that Earth is about to be attacked with radiation.

Octavia – The 100 Season 4 Episode 3

Creatively, the series is on fire.

After some questionable storyline choices on The 100 Season 3, the show is back on track.

The 100 joins Riverdale, The Flash, Arrow, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Supernatural as the shows CW has renewed for the 2017-2018 season.

The Vampire Diaries concludes tonight and Reign is expected to come to a close in April.

That leaves the futures of No Tomorrow, Frequency, The Originals and iZombie up in the air.

No Tomorrow and Frequency struggled in the ratings when they debuted last October, but The CW has been known to look at other metrics for success, so renewals for either series cannot be ruled out.

The 100 continues next week with Season 4 Episode 5, which will find Clarke forging an unlikely friendship with Roan as they set off on a dangerous mission to deliver something to Abby.

The 100 Quotes

Miller: What does it mean?
Bellamy: It means Clarke's alive. And we're gonna get her back.

Bryan: Are we ever gonna be done fighting?
Miller: Hell yes. We're gonna build a house on a lake. We're gonna plant corn. And raise chickens. And grow old.
