The truth will set you free. Or maybe not.

On The Arrangement Season 1 Episode 7, Megan shared a dark secret with Kyle while Terence came face-to-face with his own.

Our three main characters all took a trip this hour. Megan took a trip to a friend's wedding, Kyle took a trip to escape, and Terence took a trip deep into his psyche.

Kyle seemed to be enjoying his trip, living life as a "normal" person even though it was for an extremely short amount of time.

Megan's friends, while still going a little gaga over him, still treated him with respect. After the initial brush with fame, they pretty much left him alone.

It was a much-needed break for him. He needed and wanted to run away from what he did and Megan's hometown trip provided the perfect escape.

He might have confronted Terence about what happened with the investigator, but nothing was really accomplished.

Kyle told him he never wanted to see him again, but we know that's not going to last. 

They're going to kiss and make up eventually. Kyle is too invested in the Institute to just walk that easily. 

Not yet, anyway. 

His trip to normalcy might be a step in the right direction, but it's going to take a lot more brushes with normalcy to break the bond Terence and the Institute has over him.

It's hard to believe, but Kyle seems to be the real deal. His affection for Megan seems genuine. He really seemed to enjoy being able to do something like building a gazebo.

But then again, he's an accomplished actor, so what really is real in his life?

Megan seemed to get real with Kyle when she shared her abuse story with Kyle.

It was a strange way to share such a deep story. You'd think maybe she'd want to do it at home, not in five minutes in her friend's parents' living room.

It almost makes you wonder if she was telling the truth or making up another lie about her past life to cover something else up.

It's hard to tell with Megan, but I get the feeling she's still not being completely honest. With Kyle. With herself. With anyone.

It was surprising to hear Megan tell her story of abuse. It wasn't what I was expecting at all. I thought maybe she and Rebecca had some sort of conflict in their youth like Megan stole the girl's boyfriend or vice versa. 

Tessa must have known what was going on because she apologized profusely for having invited Rebecca to the wedding, but she didn't act like it was a big deal.

Maybe she didn't know everything that happened with Evan, but then why apologize for having this girl at the wedding if there wasn't something? 

The whole thing is strange, so I'll go back to my original theory that there's something more to this story.

Megan isn't being completely truthful. And that's not surprising at all, is it?

One last thing about Megan. She continues to string Nate along which is getting to be quite annoying. Does she or doesn't she have feelings for this guy or is she using him just as she's using Kyle to further her career?

Is she so caught up in her fake life that she doesn't know what's real anymore?

So Terence wishes he was living Kyle's life. 

Duh.

When Terence decided to take his trip, he probably wasn't expecting what he saw. The head of the Institute shouldn't be craving another man's life. He should be happy with his own.

But Terence doesn't seem to be a very happy man. 

Not only did he realize he wasn't happy with his life, he realized that he was as much of a fraud that Kyle accused him of being.

Terence really doesn't care about anyone but himself. He's so invested in the Institute, he's screwed with his own mind.

He can take over as many workshops as his heart desires, but he won't be changing anytime soon.

You just don't change overnight and Terence has a lot of demons to slay.

Maybe Terence did destroy Kyle's house out of anger at what he discovered about himself while in the isolation chamber, but he also might have done it as a way to get Kyle to come back and confront him.

It's unclear who actually did the dirty deed at Kyle's place, but it's clear that Kyle is going to blame Terence.

And I think Terence did it as well. Unless it was DeAnn and Annika, but what would be the purpose of that?

Terence and Kyle are at an impasse, but Terence is going to win. He's going to lure Kyle right back in. He's going to convince Kyle he's changed or is changing. 

He's going to do something to atone for what he made Kyle do. Something is going to happen to bring those two together.

The story of Kyle and Terence is far from over.
