TV Ratings Report: NCIS Hits New Series Low

at .

CBS discovered the magical formula of former NCIS vet Michael Weatherly sandwiched in between NCIS shows is not the key to the kingdom.

After a week off, NCIS, once THE biggest show on the air, returned down 0.3 to a new series low of 1.3.

That, in turn, left Bull hanging with its own series low of 1.1 dropping two-tenths.

NCIS: New Orleans, though, became the sole success of the CBS lineup by ticking up a tenth to a 1.1.

Do you think CBS is rethinking their schedule going into fall of 2017?

At ABC, The Middle was down one-tenth to 1.2 and American Housewife up one-tenth to 1.2. Fresh Off the Boat was down was down one-tenth to 1.0 and Imaginary Mary gained one-tenth to 0.9.

I did not know Imaginary Mary had started. Why? Hearst Broadcasting cut off my ABC on Dish Network at the beginning of March.

Director Jeffrey Mace - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Marvel's Agents of Shield delivered a powerful episode and gained a tenth for a 0.8.

Over on NBC, it was another two-hour edition of The Voice, gaining momentum in the 9-10 hour. From 8-9 the rating was 1.7 and 9-10 it was 1.8.

The hour-long finale of Trial & Error at 10 dwindled a bit. The 10pm airing remained steady from last week with a 0.9 and the 10:30 airing lost some viewers, down two-tenths from the previous week and the first episode of the night with a 0.7.

Fox aired Brooklyn Nine-Nine at 8pm holding steady with a 0.7, followed by a repeat of The Mick with a 0.5, down three-tenths from a new episode last week, finishing off at 9pm with a new episode of Prison Break, down two-tenths from last week at 0.9.

Fox must be regretting the sure-thing revivals they banked on for Spring.

Over on The CW, The Flash was a repeat at 8pm with a 0.3, up a tenth, and iZombie remained steady with the same.
