Now that we know for sure that American Horror Story Season 7 will be centered around cults, more details have emerged about the connection between two of the central characters.
We already knew that Sarah Paulson would be playing a character named Ally, while Evan Peters would be playing Kai.
Now, series co-creator, Ryan Murphy has revealed via Instagram that both characters are a couple.
"Ally and Kai in CULT...a love story for the ages," he captioned the above picture.
The picture is a sketch of the two actors in character. If the official teaser is to be believed, one person is not as into the cult as the others believe.
In fact, there is one theory floating around that the person is a mole and is intent on investigating everything that goes on.
It's certainly exciting to know that Paulson and Peters will be playing lovers once again.
Audrey and Rory were not the nicest of characters and got gruesome deaths as a result. We sure hope Ally and Kai are more likable.
Paulson and Evans are joined in the new season by American Horror Story newcomers Lena Dunham (Girls), Billy Eichner (Difficult People), Billie Lourd (Scream Queens), Leslie Grossman (What I Like About You) and Colton Haynes (Teen Wolf).
Returning series veterans include Adina Porter (The 100), Cheyenne Jackson (30 Rock), Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under) and Mare Winningham (The Affair).
It was announced a few days ago that the latest season of the FX smash would debut Tuesday, September 5 and would span eleven episodes.
