Teen Wolf: Dylan O'Brien Surprises Cast, Audition Tapes & MORE!!

We've known for around one year now that the current iteration of Teen Wolf is coming to a close.

With several cast departures over the years, the quality of the series has waned, so it is the best time to close of the current storylines and give fans the closure they deserve.

As expected, most of the series' cast made their way to the 2017 San Diego Comic Con Panel to say goodbye to fans and chat about their time on the show.

It was widely expected that Dylan O'Brien was not going to make the final gathering, but he surprised the fans and joined Tyler Posey, Dylan Sprayberry, Shelley Hennig, Cody Christian, Khylin Rhambo, Melissa Ponzio, Linden Ashby, and returning star Charlie Carver on the stage.

Understandably, fans went crazy. It's a testament to the work O'Brien puts into the role. He quickly emerged as a fan-favorite on the series.

"It's nothing but emotional now that it's over," O'Brien says of bringing the iconic MTV drama to a close.

"For me, this will always be such a special thing. This was my first part ever. I still remember getting the call from my manager that I got the part of Stiles."

"The fact that it's seven years later, it's just amazing. It's been a family, and it will always be a family."

"I'll always miss this character and this show. It's sad. It makes me super emotional. I'm getting shaky just talking about it right now."

There have been conflicting reports about the role O'Brien would play in the final 10 episodes considering he is very busy with his film career, but he was a heavy presence in the trailer released during the event.

"For me, it was never a job, especially from the beginning," O'Brien says.

"I was a kid out of high school who had never acted before. I got this part and met Tyler. It was all new to me."

"I was just winging it. This show became my entire school that I went to every day to learn what I was doing on set, being in front of the camera and learning about the whole process I was in love with."

"This show started that way, and it became home even when I did another thing, I couldn't wait to return home. I would get so excited to come back to Stiles. I'll always look back at Stiles being my ultimate favorite."

Original series regulars, Colton Haynes, Holland Roden, Ian Bohen and Tyler Hoechlin, could not attend the event, but Haynes and Roden each sent a video thanking fans for their support.

Teen Wolf Quotes

I have a son. His name is Mieczyslaw Stilinski, but we call him Stiles. I remember. When Stiles was a little kid, he couldn't say his first name. I'm not sure why, it pretty much rolls off the tongue, but the closest he could was mischief. His mother called him that until...I remember when Stiles first got his jeep. It belonged to his mother. She wanted him to have it. The first time he took a spin behind the wheel, he went straight into a ditch. I gave him his first roll of duct tape that day. He was always getting into trouble, but he always had a good heart, always. We're here tonight because my goofball son because he decided to drag Scott, his greatest friend in the world, into the woods to see a dead body.

Malia: Alright. I'll ask. Who's Kate Argent?
Kira: [raising hand] Uh, I'd like to know, too.
Stiles: Well, we were at her funeral, so I'd like to know how she got out from a casket buried six feet under ground.
