TV Ratings Report: America's Got Talent Goes Out High

at .

America's Got Talent crowned a winner last night on NBC, and its ratings remained dominant.

It secured 15.4 million viewers and a 2.9 rating. That represents its most-watched finale since 2010, so the show remains a force today.

Afterwards, The Good Place returned with 5.8 million viewers and a 1.4 rating. The total viewer tally is up considerably from The Good Place Season 1's average (4.8 million viewers/1.4 rating).

Over on CBS, Big Brother came to a close with 6.7 million viewers and a 2.1 rating. Those figures are up a little vs. the show's 2016 season ender.

Salvation followed with 3.2 million viewers and 0.6 rating. There's no word yet on whether the show will be back next summer.

Over on Fox, Masterchef slipped to 3.9 million viewers and a 1.1 rating among adults 18-49.
