If you were watching the series premiere of Floribama Shore, then you already know the good news.
Jersey Shores is coming back by way of Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
The last time the gang was together was for a docuseries on E! (and, no, I don't have any idea the difference between an unscripted show and a docuseries).
Floribama Shore is one of the many offshoots of the original Jersey Shore series but with an entirely new cast.
It's hard to imagine any of the shore kids will ever cause the kind of craze those of Jersey did.
And it's a decent crowd who will be vacationing again with old friends.
Jersey Shore Family Vacation will feature Deena Nicole Cortese (who appeared in seasons 3-6), Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio (Seasons 1-6), Jenni “JWoww” Farley (Seasons 1-6), Vinny Guadagnino (Seasons 1-6), Ronnie Ortiz-Magro (Seasons 1-6), Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi (Seasons 1-6) and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino (Seasons 1-6).
For those of you who haven't been caught up in the fever, I don't think Pauly D and The Situation have ever been off of our top list of stars here at TV Fanatic.
The search is real, you guys.
And who doesn't know Snooki? She's even appeared on Supernatural as a demon messing with the Winchester brothers. Does it get any more infamous than that? To her credit she's famous.
These former "kids" who once seemed annoying, well, they've grown up into pretty cool adults.
So, what will that mean for a new series featuring the gang?
There aren't any details about the new run yet, but the former wild ones have wee ones of their own now.
Are they really up for a fun of alcohol-fueled adventures?
Considering the name of the series, I'd bet on a considerably more tame version of the bunch toting their family along for the ride. At least for some of the shenanigans.
While we'd consider the Jersey Shore cast a family in their own right, the Jersey Shore family with their families would be an even more impressive undertaking.
We're ready to see how their nerves can be frayed by mini versions of each cast member who used to send them to the end of their limits in one dose. What's better than one? More than one!
Are you ready to return to the Jersey Shore??
