Once Upon a Time Adds The Originals Star In Recurring Role

Once Upon a Time has been adding a flurry of new additions for its rejigged seventh season.

The latest newbie is Nathan Parsons who has been added as a recurring player.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Parsons will play Nick, who may or may not be a love interest for one of the other characters.

Given that this is Once Upon a Time, it would be surprising if he was not involved with one of the characters.

According to the report, Nick is "a confident and charismatic slacker-turned-successful-lawyer.

He’s polished, but not stuffy or smarmy. A natural guy’s guy, Nick has an instant likability and always says the right thing."

Nathan appeared on The Originals as Jackson from 2014-2017. He was the Phoebe Tonkin's Haley Marshall married, but with the persistent threats in New Orleans, the character was killed off.

Parsons is no stranger to supernatural shows. He also appeared on True Blood Season 7 as a love interest for both Jessica Hamby and Lafayette Reynolds, and that did not exactly end well.

The news comes just one day after it was confirmed that Riverdale actress, Tiera Skovbye would be taking on the role of Robin and Zelena's older and wiser daughter.

Once Upon a Time Season 7 debuted last month, and has struggled to compete in the ratings after waving goodbye to much of the show's regular cast.

The most recent episode featured the death of a beloved character, so it should be interesting to see whether fans continue to watch the show.
