Westworld Season 2: Super Bowl Ad Promises New World & Premiere Date!

HBO has finally revealed the premiere date for Westworld Season 2!

In their first Super Bowl commercial in 20 years, they used good money to share with us a look at what the hosts promise the humans in the upcoming season and when we can dig in to see it.

The Emmy-winning drama series returns for its ten-episode second season Sunday, April 22 at 9/8c. If you don't already subscribe to HBO, it's time to get on board, people. You've been missing some of the best scripted entertainment around by not bypassing the network!

The Westworld Season 2 Official Super Bowl ad was directed by series co-creator Jonathan Nolan, and it delivers some exciting scenes of Maeve in control of a situation, Dolores in modern day clothes and fighting western style, but still evokes fear that the humans are holding them hostage.

And yes, I appear to still be against my species!

All ten episodes of the critically acclaimed first season of Westworld are available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and partners’ streaming platforms.

Debuting on HBO in 2016 to become HBO’s most-watched freshman series ever, Westworld is a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin.
