David Tennant Cast as Jennifer Garner's Husband in New HBO Series!

David Tennant is going camping!
According to TV Line, the talented actor has joined the cast of HBO's Camping and will star opposite Jennifer Garner on the upcoming series.
Tennant will take on the role of Walt aka the husband of Garner's Kathryn who is described as “a controlling L.A. mom who is far less cheerful than her Lululemons imply.”
The series focuses on Kathryn rounding up her friends and loved ones to go on a camping trip for Walt's 45th birthday.

“But when the camping trip gathers Kathryn’s meek sister, holier than thou ex-best friend and a free-spirited tagalong in one place,” the official logline reads.
“It becomes a weekend of tested marriages and woman-on-woman crime that won’t soon be forgotten. Plus, bears.”
The series is an adaptation of the Sky Atlantic series of the same name. That show aired in 2016 and went down a treat with viewers.
The project will be written and executive-produced Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner, who both worked together on fellow HBO series, Girls.

“We love Jennifer’s restraint and comedic timing, and we can’t wait for the warmth and intelligence she’ll bring to our central character, Kathryn. It’s truly a dream to have her first on our call sheet. Now we just have to write her some stunts,” the duo said in a statement last month when the show was announced.
Tennant will most likely be known to fans of Doctor Who. He played the Tenth iteration of the Doctor from 2005 to 2010.
