TV Ratings Report: Brooklyn Nine-Nine Surges to Season Highs

Maybe counting Brooklyn Nine-Nine (1.9 million/0.9 rating) out was a little premature. 

The Fox comedy series returned to Sunday nights and it ticked up to its second-best audience of the season while hitting its highest demo rating of the season.

Bob's Burgers (1.7 million/0.7 rating), The Simpsons (2.1 million/0.8 rating), Family Guy (2.3 million/1.0 rating) and Last Man on Earth (1.6 million/0.7 rating) were all down. 

ABC: American Idol (7.7 million/1.8 rating) slipped from last Sunday's ratings, while Deception (4.2 million/0.9 rating) dipped 25 percent. 

Profiling Sociopaths - Instinct

CBS: Instinct (8.8 million/1.0 rating) debuted with decent ratings, while NCIS: Los Angeles (8 million/0.9 rating) and Madam Secretary (5.8 million/0.6 rating) were steady. 

NBC: Little Big Shots (7.5 million/1.1 rating) returned down significantly from last year's opener. Genius Junior (5.1 million/1.0 rating) had solid ratings while Timeless (2.9 million/0.7 rating) dipped.
