Why have we determined HBO's upcoming drama, Succession, to be impressive?

The trailer is filled with wit and f-bombs, but after watching, Succession is already on our must-see list!

That's usually when they're unexpected, and in the scenes we're shown in the trailer, they pop up in the most unpredictable places!

The Roy family — Logan Roy and his four children — controls one of the biggest media and entertainment conglomerates in the world. 

While Logan Roy probably has more in common with Rupert Murdoch than Lucious Lyon, but they both like to grab headlines and have a family jockeying for position to inherit the throne.

Succession tracks the lives of the Roy family as they contemplate what the future will hold for them once their aging father begins to step back from the company.
