Outlander Gets Two Season Renewal at Starz!

Outlander is not coming to an end any time soon.

Starz has handed out another two-season renewal to the series, meaning it will return for Season 5 and Season 6.

The popular drama remained a hit in Season 3, which emerged as its most-watched and highest-rated season yet.

With a talented cast that includes Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan and a love story that spans centuries, the show is showing no signs of slowing down.

The renewal is for 12 episodes for the two seasons, down one episode on Outlander Season 3's order of 13 episodes.

The show, which is adapted from a series of novels by Diane Gabaldon, has been focusing on one of the eight books per season since the series debuted in 2014.

Given the show's success, it's hard to imagine it not going on for as long as the books go.

"Fans can rest assured their beloved Claire and Jamie will be back facing new challenges, adversaries, and adventures in seasons five and six as we delve into American history and continue the story of the Frasers as they settle in the New World,” Starz CEO Chris Albrecht said.

Production on Outlander Season 4 is well underway in Scotland, and Starz has confirmed that season will bow on the premium cable network sometime in November.

Outlander Quotes

Sex was our bridge back to one another. The one place where we always met. Whatever obstacles presented themselves during the day or night, we could seek out and find each other again in bed. As long as we had that, I had faith that everything would work out.
