Preacher Season 3: Jesse's Powerless, Tulip's Dead and The Group Heads To Angelville

What do you get when you throw together a West Texas preacher, a badass ex-girlfriend, and an Irish vampire with a heart?

You have Preacher.

And we can't wait until its return. The good news? We're here to talk about that!

You either love Preacher or you hate it, but no matter how you feel about the show, you have to admit one thing. It sure is unpredictable.

Jessie, Tulip and Cassidy's search for God has led them to some crazy places and gotten them into some bad situations, but they always end up on top.

Hopefully, the three will stick together, after all they've been through. That was questionable last season, considering Cassidy and Tulip were planning to run away together and get away from all the craziness around the search for God.

But Tulip and Cassidy just can't stop supporting Jesse, no matter how much they want to.

Jesse's God-complex got so out of control by the end of Preacher Season 2, though, he may have fractured the group for good.

Maybe Tulip's death will shock Jesse back into reality and let him see Herr Starr for the evil mastermind he is. Jesse's not meant to replace God!

This season will begin with Jesse and Cassidy returning to Jesse's hometown of Angelville with Tulip, dead, in the back seat of her Chevelle.

Jesse's terrified of Angelville, and we don't exactly know why, yet. He'll do anything to save Tulip, though, and he will.

He has to.

We got a small glimpse in Season 2 of Jesse's childhood and some things he went through in Angelville, but we only saw the tip of the iceberg.

He's about to face the town again, and we will find out a lot more about what happened to him there.

Jesse plans to bring Tulip to Gran'ma, a spiritist in Angelville, who will bring her back to life, but there's a price. What will that price be? We don't know, but we're about to find out during Preacher Season 3.

Hopefully, Tulip will still be the same Tulip because she's such a badass. Isn't she? We'll have to wait to find out if death has changed her.

If God wasn't AWOL, maybe we could ask Him, but He's gone.

This season, we'll meet a whole new group of characters back in Angelville, we'll find out Tulip's fate, Jesse's past, and Eugene's & Hitler's return from hell.

I don't know about you, but I'm excited to watch Preacher this season!

It returns to AMC on Sunday, June 24th, and is sure to be full of twists and turns. I wouldn't have it any other way.
