The 100 Renewed for Season 6 at The CW!

at .

We're going to come back, bitches!

The 100, also known as the little show that could, continues to surprise us in the very best way with a sixth season renewal.

Only two episodes have aired of its fifth season, but the reason has been wonderful so far with ratings higher than the show's most successful episode during The 100 Season 3.

Things are only picking up from here, with The 100 Season 5 Episode 3, "Sleeping Giants" airing tomorrow, and it might as well be called a season-changing installment.

Clarke Griffin on the ground - The 100

With new characters like Madi, Zeke, Charmaine, McCreary, and even Shannon Kook's mysterious season finale character the fun is just beginning.

The 100 Season 4 Episode 13 ended with a six-year time jump that has now changed the way that the show continues to thrive. The stakes are different, and many characters have found themselves in three groups separated by space and the ground.

We have currently seen the way that things have shifted with Clarke alone on Earth, she meets a little girl named Madi who becomes like family to her, and now in present time they are both trying to figure out how to protect their land against people that arrive from a prisoner ship in space.

As for the bunker, everything is a little darker with Octavia choosing to avoid population reduction by creating literal fighting pits as inspired by the books that Bellamy read to her as a child.

It is safe to say that it is depressing and hopeless down there right now, but it is how they were able to survive for longer than the initial projected time.

All the while the space group has found some level of relaxation, with all of them mostly finding a purpose on the ship while they wait for Raven to figure out how they can get down to the ground.

A New Way Home - The 100

Everyone is impatient, that is until they see the Eligius ship heading for Earth, the same one that is now threatening their favorite blonde hero that survived the end of the world without them knowing about it.

Now it is all about that rush to reunite and to reintroduce all our favorite character bonds, with the time that passed creating a shift in certain dynamics as the season continues. And all this happens with the fight for Eden as the backdrop for this season's arc.

One thing is for sure though; this is just the beginning.

Raven and Emori Best Friends In Space - The 100 Season 5 Episode 3

This renewal is one of the last few that are expected from The CW. Most of their current programming has been guaranteed a spot, with only iZombie left as a veteran show on the network without a new season.

There are also new shows such as Valor and Life Sentence that are up in the air, but it is safe to assume that both shows won't be returning.

The 100 Quotes

Miller: What does it mean?
Bellamy: It means Clarke's alive. And we're gonna get her back.

Bryan: Are we ever gonna be done fighting?
Miller: Hell yes. We're gonna build a house on a lake. We're gonna plant corn. And raise chickens. And grow old.
