The Arrangement: Canceled at E! After Two Seasons

The contract has been broken.

This time, it wasn't Kyle or Megan who opted to get out, but E! itself.

The Arrangement has been canceled after two seasons at the network, making The Arrangement Season 2 Episode 10 the series finale.

Talking it Through - The Arrangement Season 2 Episode 10

The Arrangement starred Josh Henderson, Christine Evangelista, Lexa Doig and Michael Vartan.

Henderson's role as Kyle put him in position as a sort of young Tom Cruise, deeply enmeshed in a Scientology-type organization that controlled his every move.

He was so embroiled within The Institute of the Higher Mind that he allowed Terrance Howard (Vartan) and his wife, DeAnn (Doig), map out not only his career but find him women suitable for representing the IHM values, as well.

That's where Megan (Evangelista), and all the fun of the series came into play.

Telling Truths - The Arrangement Season 2 Episode 9

The show, one of two scripted originals to air on E! during the 2017-18 season alongside The Royals, was a breakout during The Arrangement Season 1 but lost a large portion of its audience during its sophomore season.

The Arrangement was equally as engaging during The Arrangement Season 2 as it was during its freshman outing, and being paired with The Royals should have guaranteed a good night of viewing.

However, both series lost viewers airing on Sunday nights, and it could be due to the competition faced this time around.

Final Conflict - The Arrangement Season 2 Episode 9

“Over two seasons, E!’s scripted series The Arrangement has taken viewers inside the world of an A-list movie star filled with secrets, scandal and romance.

"While we have decided not to move forward with the series, we are incredibly grateful to the cast and our production partners,” a E! spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline.

Personally, it was one of the few soapy shows I looked forward to watching the same night it aired, so I will be one of those who misses it.

The premise was different and allowed for an opportunity to imagine what it must be like for those who find themselves in similar situations in real life to make decisions under similar circumstances.

What about you?

Will you miss The Arrangement? Where might you like to see the cast turn up next?

If you wish to watch it all again from the beginning, you can watch The Arrangement online and make up your own, happier ending.
