It takes a certain kind of crazy to want to control a group of people the way Nicholas T. Moore did on The Blacklist Season 5 Episode 20.

The big question about New Haven that wasn't quite explained was how he even started his crazy cult-like family. Were all of those people related somehow?

I suppose if you were born into that craziness, you wouldn't know any different. What those people were told was their reality. The problem I had with the story was how quickly and easily some of the group were able to walk away from their cult and into the hands of the FBI.

All those people were born into this cult, so why would they believe an outsider or an Olo over their esteemed leader? It should have taken a lot more than a guy holding up a book to convince them they were all living a lie.

I don't doubt that the girl's mom wouldn't feel some sort of emotion watching her husband be burned alive, but if she already bought into everything, why question the processes?

How did they know there was someone outside who could help their little girl with her sickness? I think I must've missed part of the story because none of it seems logical.

Then again nothing related to cults seems logical. I don't get how people can be so weak-minded to let themselves be duped by someone they think has all the answers for whatever they are searching.

Moore wasn't a great cult leader either. He gave up rather easily when confronted by the Aram and the FBI. If he was going to shoot someone, he should have shot Aram just to shut him up, but he didn't do anything, and Aram kept talking.

Killing his son (I'm guessing that Nicholas was his son) was dumb, but at that point, he was desperate and didn't want his followers to jump ship.

Still, he should have known it would have started a firefight with the FBI. Moore did have a plan of action if authorities ever overtook them. 

I thought maybe he was taking them all back into the house to set them all on fire to save them from the Olo -- or at least drink some sort of poison so they all wouldn't die from the "contagion" that he claimed affected the rest of the world.

At least the little girl and her mother were saved. It must have been overwhelming to realize a whole world existed outside their isolated one in the wilderness.

I hope the FBI had some program to acclimate the girl and her mother to the modern world and didn't just plop them somewhere to deal with it on their own. How would they even be able to deal with that?

Aram wasn't handling Samar's disappearance very well. I loved his bravery, but it was dumb on his part. I can't believe Ressler or Liz didn't stop him. He broke every protocol when he approached the compound.

I'm surprised the guy who took Samar didn't kill her right away. She's lucky to be alive.

I'm glad Red is going to help find her before it's too late. He didn't have much of a choice. Liz was pretty adamant about Red helping, but even if Liz didn't push, Red would do it anyway.

He owes a lot to Samar. Besides, everyone on the Task Force is like family to him.

Not much progress was made in regards to the bones. It would have been too easy if Garvey had given the duffel bag to Jennifer, but Red needed to know for sure.

Red having an in-depth discussion with Jennifer was touching. It felt honest. I'm not sure how I feel about Naomi being dead, but that may be a ruse on Jennifer's part.

Naomi had to figure that Red might come for her again at some point even if he was the one who sent her away to start another new life, so it makes sense that maybe she isn't dead.

I hope she is, and I hope Jennifer goes on her merry way. She and Liz aren't going to become best friends. Liz pretty much forgot about her to take care of the case, and Jennifer didn't make any efforts to connect with Liz.

It's best they go their separate ways.

It's curious as to why Garvey would bring the bones to Costa Rica. Was that where Tom and Liz ran off after Mr. Kaplan faked Liz's death? I can't remember, but if it is, that would be interesting.

I hope that the mystery of the bones gets solved soon. I'm about done trying to figure it all out. And when the big reveal comes, it better be a big reveal -- something worth all the effort for caring about whose bones they are.
