17 Best TV Crush Confirmations

at .

Getting to watch two characters crush on one another is just as fun as finally having them admit to it.

Sometimes it is through a speech, or a look, or even a surprising kiss.

It is all about the way their relationship had managed to build up to that point and the satisfying way that it all paid off in the end. It isn't always that you get a well written couple that manages to take their relationship to the next level almost effortlessly.

Below is a slideshow of couples that had some of the most memorable crush confirmations, whether they were explicit or not. It is safe to say that they are all making us really jealous about our own crush progress right about now.

1. Klaus and Caroline - The Vampire Diaries

Ever since Klaus saved Caroline's life, he started to crush really hard on her. It was very obvious that Klaus was willing to wait until Caroline was ready for a relationship with him, but thankfully we still got some validation in the form of a steamy reunion in the woods. It took a few years but eventually the two found each other again on The Originals and are sailing right towards endgame status.

2. Bellamy and Clarke - The 100

Bellamy and Clarke are the exception to the rule, they haven't said it but have managed to show it over and over again. Besides the interesting camera work this season on The 100 when it comes to Clarke looking at Bellamy, this season during the fourth season is the closest they have come to voicing something. Bellamy chose the end of the world as the push he needed to let Clarke know, but she cut him off because she wouldn't accept that this was their last moment together.

3. Jonah and Amy - Superstore

It was obvious from the pilot that Jonah and Amy had a spark, and the two always hovered around their feelings for one another. There was just something about this scene when Jonah mentions he liked Amy not expecting her to admit that she did too. Suffice to say, his reaction was priceless.

4. Magnus and Alec - Shadowhunters

It took Alec a while to figure out how to be himself even when he felt like he had a duty to his family. This beautiful moment during his wedding when he finally lets himself just be who he always was and to go be with Magnus who he has feelings for was so important.

5. Jim and Pam - The Office

The first two seasons of the show were counting down to the moment when Jim would clue Pam into just how much he liked her. At first she denied feeling anything back, but then she kissed him back and the rest was history. It may have still take them a little while to actually get together yet their feelings were never something that could be questioned.

6. Kat and Adena - The Bold Type

Kat and Adena had a truly stunning first kiss, not before Kat laid it all out there though. Her speech to Adena meant a lot not only because of the way it started their relationship, but also because of what it meant for Kat as a woman slowly realizing that she is queer. It is safe to say that watching this scene on repeat is a huge must.

7. Ben and Leslie - Parks and Recreation

Everyone knew how hard Ben and Leslie were crushing on one another, and yet this kiss still managed to come as some sort of surprise. Their love story was one for the ages and crush confirmations are nothing without a spontaneous kiss.

8. Elena and Syd - One Day at a Time

Elena and Syd had one of the best tv crush confirmations of all time, simply because of how relatable and adorable it was. It was Elena figuring out a crush after she came out and got to be her pure gay self. Syd and Elena represent a happiness that is hard to describe, but we are so lucky to get to see them together.

9. Nick and Jess - New Girl

These two had a first kiss that people still talk about, but the entire episode that led up to it held a lot of weight when it came to their relationship. Nick not wanting to kiss Jess like this because he wanted their first kiss to be real was unexpectedly sweet, even for him.

10. Chidi and Eleanor - The Good Place

Decisions may not come easy for Chidi, but his feelings for Eleanor were something he didn't have to think about. There is something so romantic about a guy who can't pick a tie knowing that you are the person he wants to be with. Plus Chidi and Eleanor are perfect for one another, so it was only a matter of time before they made it official.

11. Jake and Amy - Brooklyn Nine-Nine

It was weirdly shocking how honest Jake was with Amy about his feelings. If anything, it felt like Jake wouldn't know how to talk about it but he was kind of mature and perfect about it. He was considerate when it came to her relationship with someone else, yet still made sure she knew that she had someone else totally crushing on her.

12. Mulder and Scully - The X-Files

It wasn't exactly Scully and Mulder talking to one another about their feelings, but this was as close as we were going to get. Their relationship continues to be quite legendary, and it is all about these little scenes that remind us that these two are partners in every version of the word.

13. Clarke and Lexa - The 100

This was a very memorable confession because of how vulnerable Lexa was in when it came down to it. Clarke had no clue the way that she had affected Lexa, and yet the leader had heart eyes for the Skaikru leader. It all came together when Clarke gave a speech about life being more than just survival, and Lexa took that as her chance to explore just that.

14. Barry and Iris - The Flash

These two are actual couple goals, they are so pure and love each other so much. Getting this scene between them, when it isn't only Barry but Iris as well that can't stop thinking about the other was a wonderful beginning to their love story. They truly deserve the happiness that they found with one another.

15. Fitz and Simmons - Agents of Shield

Nothing says you have a crush on someone like sacrificing your life to make sure they live. Fitz pulled off the ultimate love declaration when he was willing to die to make sure that Simmons was the one that survived.

16. Bruce and Selina - Gotham

There is no way to explain it, sometimes it just cute to see kids develop carefree crushes on one another. These two are a strong pair and it was a nice surprise to see Bruce compliment Selina.

17. Oliver and Felicity - Arrow

Personally it was strange to not know what exactly Oliver's feelings were for Felicity. Much like her, it was like trying to solve a puzzle when it came to their scenes together sometimes. Luckily Oliver didn't make either of us wait long when he made it very clear that he was all in.
