American Horror Story: Apocalypse is bringing back a key American Horror Story: Murder House character.
American Crime Story: Versace veteran, Cody Fern has been cast as the grown-up version of Michael Langdon, according to Executive Producer, Ryan Murphy.
"Excited to announce Cody Fern will be playing the role of Michael Langdon in American Horror Story: Apocalypse. Premieres September 12 on FX," he shared via Twitter.
He also shared the above image of Fern in action.
If you watch American Horror Story online, you know that Michael is the child of Vivien Harmon (Connie Britton) and Tate Langdon (Evan Peters).
As American Horror Story: Murder House concluded, Constance (Jessica Lange) stole the child and he was widely considered to be an incarnation of the Antichrist.
In the closing scenes of that season, Constance returned home to find that the child had murdered his nanny, prompting Constance to utter the following:
"Now what am I gonna do with you?"
Michael was expected to return because the official key art was revealed last week, and it was very similar to the art from the inaugural season.
You can see it below.
We still don't know whether Jessica Lange will be back. She was a series regular for the first four seasons, but left the series to pursue other roles.
With the show featuring Constance's grandson, we could be in for a surprise return, but we'll get more intel down the line.
Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Joan Collins, Adina Porter, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Emma Roberts, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, and Kyle Allen are all slated to appear.
