Fear no more, as Netflix has released the first image of new star Olivia Colman as The Queen.

If The Crown were strictly a United States production, we would probably be subjected to an aging process via prosthetics and makeup, but as this is a worldwide production, we're having things done a little differently.
The entire cast will be turned over when The Crown Season 3 returns.
While Claire Foy and Matt Smith were first playing The Queen and Prince Philip, moving forward we'll be treated to Olivia Colman and Tobias Menzies as the royal couple.

They are set to appear for the third and fourth seasons of the award-winning and critically-praised drama.
We're anxiously awaiting more photos, but we're also going to make you wait just a little bit more before we get to the first photo from production.

Colman is best known in the States for her work on the original UK production of Broadchurch and The Night Manager from AMC.
Menzies is best known for his dual roles of Black Jack Randall and Frank Randall on Outlander and most recently as James Fitzjames on The Terror on AMC.

Also joining the cast will be Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret and Ben Daniels as Antony Armstrong-Jones.

As you can see in the first production photo released, below, there is a lot to look forward to already.
Colman looks like she has been waiting her entire life to step into the role.
By way of storylines, the expectation is that the drama will begin in 1963.
Among topics that will be addressed will be the rise of The Beatles to fame and England winning the soccer world cup in 1966.
New characters on the horizon include Camilla Parker Bowles, among others.
