No Good Nick Starring Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin Ordered at Netflix
Paul Dailly at .Melissa Joan Hart is returning to the world of comedy on No Good Nick.
The actress will star alongside Sean Astin on the multi-camera comedy, which has snagged a 20-episode order at Netflix.
They play Liz and Ed, a “hyper-competitive career mom” and a “fun dad” who take 13-year old Nick into their family "before realizing she is a street-smart con artist with a secret agenda."
“Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin are beloved by millions of fans around the world, and we are delighted to bring them together as parents for the very first time,” said Melissa Cobb, Vice President of Kids and Family at Netflix.
“We hope to entertain kids and families with heart, mystery, and a lot of fun when No Good Nick comes to Netflix.”

No Good Nick will serve as Joan Hart's first series regular TV role since Melissa & Joey which concluded after four seasons in 2015.
Netflix has revealed that No Good Luck will take a "unique approach to the multicam sitcom with the added element of serialized drama that will keep viewers guessing at every turn whether there will turn out to be much more beneath the surface of Nick than meets the eye."
It's certainly an interesting direction to take the series, and it will be intriguing to see how the powers that be manage to spin the mystery across the series.

On the live-action TV front, Astin most recently had a role on Stranger Things Season 2, but he is probably best known for his role in The Goonies, which was his first movie role.
Netflix has been adding a lot of scripted content of late, and it's getting difficult to keep up with all the shows.
However, having these two household names will surely help drum up some interest ahead of the premiere.
