at .  Updated at .

With the 2018-19 TV season well underway, it's time to take a look at how the new and returning series are performing and their odds at being renewed for the 2019-20 season.

Most shows on CBS are on the downside year-to-year, and that could give some of the more marginal shows a fighting chance at garnering a reprieve.

Criminal Minds which was expected to conclude with a truncated secured an early renewal for another season.

Have a look at how the CBS shows stack up and hit the comments with your thoughts.

1. The Big Bang Theory - Ending

The Big Bang Theory will wrap up in May 2019 at the close of its twelfth season.

Season to date, it is averaging 12.9 million total viewers and a 2.3 rating in the demo. It's down in the ratings, but could have continued for several more years if the powers that be wanted to keep it around.

It's still a strong performer on the DVR front, with the demo tally swelling by over 70 percent with a week's worth of DVR factored in.

2. Young Sheldon - Certain Renewal

Young Sheldon is down over 20 percent in the demo this season, but 11.1 million viewers and a 1.8 rating is a fantastic result for any show. With The Big Bang Theory ending, it will likely become the network's highest-rated series. It will be around for a long time.

3. NCIS - Certain Renewal

NCIS is showing stability this season. Currently averaging 12.2 million total viewers and a 1.3 rating, it is right on par with last season's average.

It surges more than 50 percent in the demo with seven days of DVR factored in. Even if some of the cast members want out, CBS will not want to part with the show quite yet.

4. Mom - Renewed

Mom has always been a reliable performer for CBS. With 8.1 million total viewers and a 1.3 rating in the demo, it's a hit. CBS has renewed it for two additional seasons.

5. The Neighborhood - Renewed

The Neighborhood has been a consistent performer since it debuted earlier this month. Averaging 6.4 million total viewers and a 1.2 rating, CBS has renewed it.

6. FBI - Renewed

This freshman drama is averaging 9.3 million viewers and a 1.1 rating. The show is adding almost 60 percent to the demo rating within seven days, so that's a major positive. It is renewed and a spin-off is in the works.

7. God Friended Me - Renewed

This Sunday drama has boasted strong ratings. With 8 million viewers and a 1.0 rating, it has been renewed.

8. Fam - Likely Cancellation

Fam is averaging 6 million viewers and a 1.0 rating. Its most recent episode scored a 0.8 rating. It's on thin ice.

9. Murphy Brown - Certain Cancellation

The revival of Murphy Brown was likely triggered by the success of ABC's Roseanne, but the former was never as popular as the latter.

As such, the ratings have not been great. With 6.1 million viewers and a 0.8 rating, don't expect it to return.

10. Magnum PI - Renewed

This reboot is averaging 6 million viewers and a 1.0 rating. It's not doing great, but it's not doing as bad as it could be doing.

11. NCIS: Los Angeles - Certain Renewal

This aging procedural still packs a punch in the ratings. It is averaging 7.5 million total viewers and a 0.9 rating. It adds almost 80 percent to the demo tally within a week. It will stick around for a while yet.

12. Happy Together - Certain Cancellation

This freshman sitcom has not been quite as strong as its lead-in, The Neighborhood. It is averaging 4.6 million viewers and a 0.8 rating. CBS decided against a back order. That's not good.

13. NCIS: New Orleans - Certain Renewal

NCIS: New Orleans is one of the few consistent shows on the broadcast landscape. It is currently averaging 7.6 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the demo.

14. SEAL Team - Likely Renewal

SEAL Team is down almost 20 percent year-to-year. It is pulling in 5.5 million viewers and a 0.8 rating. It swells almost 90 percent with a week of DVR factored in.

It is also owned by CBS, so it will likely be around next season.

15. Blue Bloods - Likely Renewal

Blue Bloods is averaging 8.6 million viewers and a 0.8 rating. These are respectable figures for Friday nights. It remains a force on the DVR front. The only instance this show might end is if Tom Selleck decides he's had enough.

16. Hawaii Five-0 - Likely Renewal

Hawaii Five-0 is pulling in 7.6 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in the demo. It is still in the safe zone, but if either Alex O'Loughlin or Scott Caan want out, it could signal the end of the line for the series.

17. Bull - Could Go Either Way

Despite cratering after being moved to Mondays this fall, Bull is owned by CBS and should be renewed for syndication purposes.

However, the recent controversy surrounding series star and Michael Weatherly could conflict with the network's plan to stay out of the headlines for the wrong reasons. It is currently down over 30 percent to 6.8 million viewers and a 0.8 rating. Could CBS buck the trend and cancel the series?

18. Criminal Minds - Renewed

CBS has renewed Criminal Minds for a truncated final season.

19. S.W.A.T. - Could Go Either Way

S.W.A.T. has never been a solid performer for CBS. It is averaging 5.4 million viewers and a 0.8 rating. It does get a boost with DVR factored in, but not enough to rule it a certain renewal.

CBS does not own it.

20. MacGyver - Certain Renewal

MacGyver is down ever so slightly to 6.2 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in the demo. It's close to syndication levels and performing respectably for Fridays. It will be back.

21. Madam Secretary - Likely Renewal

This series has never been a heavy hitter in the ratings. It is currently averaging 5.6 million viewers and a 0.6 rating. These figures are right on par with last year.

22. Man With a Plan - Likely Renewal

Man With a Plan is averaging 5.9 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in the demo.
