TV Ratings Report: The Conners Plunges

The Conners took a big hit in the demo on Tuesday night.
The Conners Season 1 Episode 2 slipped 29 percent to a 1.7 rating (7.9 million total viewers).
The Kids Are Alright also had a big drop in its second week, slipping three-tenths to a 1.1 rating (5.1 million viewers).
Blackish slipped just one-tenth week-to-week to a 0.9 rating (3.8 million viewers). The Rookie slipped 20 percent in week two to a 0.8 rating (4.4 million).
The Flash was steady with a 0.7 rating (1.8 million viewers), while Black Lightning inched up a tenth to a 0.4 rating (1.2 million viewers).
The Voice (8.3 million/1.6 rating) inched down two-tenths, while This Is Us (8.4 million/2.1 rating) slipped just a tenth with increased competition.
New Amsterdam leveled off for NBC in the 10/9c slot hour with a 1.3 rating (6.4 million viewers).
Over on Fox, The World Series got underway with 12.6 million viewers and a 3.4 rating, up slightly vs. last year's opener.
