The CW is the latest network to firm up its midseason plans, and there are some big changes on the horizon for fans of the network's most beloved series.
Roswell, New Mexico is getting the best launching pad the network has to offer behind The Flash.
It will bow Tuesday, January 15 in the 9/8c slot. Former time-period occupant, Black Lightning will make a move to Mondays out of Arrow effective January 21.
This move also means that DC's Legends of Tomorrow will be bumped from the schedule following its fall finale until April.
The Monday move might spell good news for Black Lightning which has experienced the dreaded sophomore slump in the ratings department this year.
Black Lightning Season 2 is off over 30 percent in the demo year-to-year and is averaging a 0.4 rating.
The network also confirmed that the final season of Jane the Virgin will take over for All American when the football drama wraps its 16 episode freshman run.
Similarly, In the Dark will fill in for Legacies when The Vampire Diaries/ The Originals spinoff concludes its freshman season.
In addition to the above, The CW has also unveiled midseason return dates for its shows that are currently on the air.
