at . Comments

Only The CW opted to take Halloween night off, and it was probably a good move.

Most shows took some big drops on the night.

Jamal's Pain - Empire Season 5 Episode 5

Empire dipped four-tenths to a series low 1.2 rating (4.2 million total viewers), while fellow Fox drama dipped three-tenths to a 0.9 rating (3.4 million viewers).

Survivor slipped one-tenth to a 1.3 rating. The veteran CBS reality series still won the 8/9c slot, but can we all agree that this season of the show is terrible?

Rescue in Mumbai - SEAL Team

SEAL Team and Criminal Minds were steady with a 0.8 (5.4 million total viewers) and 0.7 (4.4 million total viewers) respectively.

Over on NBC, Chicago Wednesdays continued to resonate. However, Chicago Med (7.7 million/1.1 rating) dipped two-tenths, while Chicago Fire (7.9 million/1.2 rating) and Chicago PD (7 million/1.1 rating) each lost one-tenth.

ABC's A Million Little Things (3.3 million/0.8 rating) was the sole show stable on the alphabet network.

Eddie Performs - A Million Little Things Season 1 Episode 6

The Goldbergs (4.8 million/1.0 rating) and Modern Family (5 million/1.2 rating) each dipped three tenths, while American Housewife (4.2 million/0.9 rating) and Single Parents (3.7 million/0.9 rating) each shed two-tenths.
