17 General Hospital Characters Port Charles Needs Back ASAP

Over the years there have been plenty of characters that have said goodbye to Port Charles.
Whether they died, are presumed dead, on the run or left town, there are several characters that fans miss dearly, and General Hospital needs to bring them back ASAP.
The canvas is a little crowded right now on General Hospital, but viewers would give up newbies like Chace, Finn and D.A. Dawson for a chance to have one of these beloved characters back in town.

1. Luke Spencer
Yes, Anthony Geary is retired, but couldn't Luke Spencer pop back in town for a quick visit to see his daughter, grandchildren and the love of his life, Laura Spencer? They could all use his help right now fans need a Luke fix.
2. Robin Scorpio Drake
Thankfully Robin Scorpio Drake makes the occasional appearance in Port Charles, but it is not enough. She needs to be back full time, especially to help her mother as Anan deals with her long-lost son and Robin's half-brother, Peter.
3. Nikolas Cassadine
Prince Nikolas Cassadine is presumed dead, but since fans never saw him die, this return is possible. Even though Tyler Christopher is unavailable, Nick Stabile played the role before and was amazing. It is time the Cassadine heir came back to claim his throne from the evil Valentin.
4. Tracy Quartermaine
The lovely Jane Elliott is also retired. However, since Luke and Tracy Quartermaine were last seen at the same café, they could return to Port Charles together. The entire Quartermaine family could use a good dose of Tracy drama. Her crazy antics are sorely missed.
5. Lucky Spencer
Lucky Spencer has been MIA for years, but his youngest son, Aiden, needs his father. Now that Nashville is over, perhaps Johnathon Jackson would come back even if it was for a short stint. He hasn't seen his kids, his sister, or his mother in far too long. Bad Lucky.
6. Helena Cassadine
It has been three years since Helena Cassadine died. However, the character has killed multiple times, so bringing her back to life is a possibility. Helena is the queen of villains, and Port Charles could use a good evil villain that fans love to hate. No one fits that bill better than Helena.
7. Patrick Drake
General Hospital is in desperate need of the hunky neurosurgeon, Patrick Drake. Who else is going to save Oscar of dying from a brain tumor? Griffin is unavailable. Sadly, since Jason Thompson is on The Young & The Restless, the chances of Patrick returning are slim, but fans can still dream.
8. Dante Falconeri
It is time to bring Dante Falconeri back from his undercover assignment. The character has been gone for months, and his wife, son, father and brother all need him. Even though fans miss Dominic Zamprogna, the role should be recast, and Dante needs to come home.
9. Frisco Jones
WSB Agent Frisco Jones has missed a lot of pivotal moments in Port Charles, including his own daughter's death. It is time he returns to face his daughter Maxie and ex-wife Felicia. Plus, Anna is the only spy in town she could certainly use his expertise. Jack Wagner, are you listening?
10. Jasper "Jax" Jacks
Yes, it is a long shot Jax will return, especially since portrayer Ingo Rademacher is on The Bold & The Beautiful. However, Josslyn could use her dad now as she deals with Oscar's illness, and Alexis needs a confidant like her best friend, Jax.
11. Morgan Corinthos
Morgan Corinthos's body was never found, so it is time for him to be found alive. There has been too much sadness in the Corinthos family. Bring Morgan back so the family can find some happiness, even if it is with another actor since Bryan Craig is not available.
12. Nelle Benson
It has only been a hot second that Nelle Benson has been gone, but she must return to expose the baby switch story. Enough is enough; give Michael back his baby. Brad won't do it. Therefore, Nelle is the only other option.
13. Jerry Jacks
Jax's brother Jerry Jacks is another great villian. He is enemy number one for so many people. Plus, Alexis was one of his great loves. A rekindled romance between the two would drive Julian crazy. His return might be enough for Julian and Sonny to team up.
14. Alan Quartermaine
Fans have never gotten over Dr. Alan Quartermaine's death, can he come back from the dead? The Quartermaines lack a good strong male role model, and Monica needs her hubby. Also, it would be great be to see Jason reconnect with Alan since he never got to say goodbye.
15. Duke Lavery
Anna and Duke's love story has been cut short too many times. Duke also never got to meet his son Griffin. Both are reason enough to have Duke Lavery once again be discovered alive. It might be a long shot, but stranger things have happened in Port Charles.
16. AJ Quartermaine
Sonny may have shot AJ Quartermaine, but that doesn't mean he is indeed dead. The possibilities are endless if he returns. Image AJ, Jason, and Drew trying to have a brotherly bond or AJ discovering his son Michael forgave Sonny for shooting him. So good, come back Sean Kanan!
17. Courtney Matthews
The beautiful Courtney Matthews was taken from Port Charles too soon. Even if she doesn't come back from the dead, her brother, Sonny, son, Spencer, and father, Mike will all benefit from a ghostly Courtney visit right now.
