TV Ratings Report: The Good Doctor Rises With Fall Finale

ABC's The Good Doctor closed out 2018 with a shocking installment, and it resulted in higher ratings. 

The Good Doctor Season 2 Episode 10 was the top-rated scripted show of the night with a 1.4 rating (7.2 million viewers).

Before that, The Great Christmas Light Fight was steady with another 1.1 rating (5.4 million total viewers). 

Over on The CW, a game-changing episode of Arrow posted another 0.4 rating (1.4 million total viewers), while DC's Legends of Tomorrow had another 0.3 rating (0.9 million total viewers). 

Over on NBC, The Voice inched down a tenth, securing a 1.5 rating (9 million viewers) across two hours. 

After that, a holiday-themed Deal or No Deal secured a 1.0 rating (5.4 million viewers). I get the need to bring back old shows for trial runs, but would it have hurt to save Deal or No Deal for another few weeks?

It would have benefited from an earlier timeslot and a bit more promotion. 

Elsewhere, The Neighborhood was steady as a rock with a 1.1 rating (6.5 million total viewers), while Happy Together (4.6 million total viewers) lost a tenth to a 0.8 rating. 

Bull slipped to a 0.7 rating (6.5 million total viewers).
